Aloo Ki Tikki

Ingredients for tikki :
1. 250 gms. potatoes(boiled)
2. 2 tbsp bread crumbs
For Filling :
1. 100 gms. channa dal
2. 1/2 tbsp chat masala powder
3. 1/4 tbsp garam masala powder
4. 1/2 tbsp red chilli powder
5. 2-3 green chillies(chopped)
6. salt to taste
7. 2tbsp chopped green coriander
8. 1 tbsp oil
9. 1 cup water
Method :
1. first boil the potatoes . peel and mash the potatoes.
2. wash and soak rhe chana dal in a cup of water for half an hour.Boil soaked dal with one cup of water in a covered microwave safe bowl for 10 mins. at 100% power.
3. make a smooth mixture of mashed potatoes and bread crumbs.
4. mix dal with all tha ingredients of the filling and keep aside.
5.make small balls of the potato mixture , applyling little oil on your hands.fill with the above mixture and shape them in to small tikkis.
6. preheat the oven at the 250 degree centigrate at convention mode.
7. place the prepared tikkis on microwave flat safe dish on high rack and bake at250 degree centigrate for 25 to 30 mins. reposition frequently for uniform browning .relish with green chunty and snoth.

Delicious! In very cold weather we eat pasta and potatoes, but potatoes and dal sound perfect. Thanks.
